My folks hava a Lhasa and they let his hair grow over winter, then keep it short in the summer. He doe snot like having his face trimmed so one time they shaved down is entire body, but pretty much left his face/head. He looked ridiculous we had to take him to another groomer to get it fixed.

My mum has my sister's dog shaved every summer and it looks ridiculous. Totally ruins the look of her, she normally has a gorgeous long silky coat...I'll never understand why mum has to butcher her hair.

Cass.

It's okay if your dog AREADY has short hair. But it just doesn't work on a maltese!

Your case seems worse, my dog looks like a girl when he's a boy!
