Welll Bandit's toenails are getting very long..but he can't even stand for his feet to be touched by anyone....so cutting them is very hard..and I don't want him to bite somone that does it profesionaly...and he wakes up very easliy so in his sleep would be out of the questions...and i've tried just about everything...

How often do you walk him on pavement?
My Samoyed is the same way. I just make sure he gets a few walks on pavement a week and that keeps the nails "filed" to the right length.

Pavement walking is wonderful.

I've noticed that Kya, my chi, is very foot-sensitive when I try to cut her nails, but when I take her to the groomer she acts completely calm. So, he might not be so bad at a groomer.

My vet is also willing to cut nails. Maybe he would act better around the vet since he already knows him? Good luck, and I hope you find an alternative.

If you are unable to clip his nails it is important to bring him to someone who can. It can create problems for dogs when their nails get too long.

You can try to slowly desensitize Bandit to your handling his feet. Use a special treat, such as a spoonful of peanut butter, that he only gets to lick on while you touch his feet. As he gets used to it try to clip 1 nail the
1st time, then a couple the next, etc. It may take you a few evenings to get all his nails done but he'll be much better off with nails the appropriate length.

I agree. That would be the best thing to do. And also as mentioned, long nails can cause quite a problem. Not only are they uncomfortable for your dog, but then longer the nails grow, the longer the quick is, so the harder (or longer time I should say) it is to get the nails back to an appropriate length.

And if they are very long and they need attention right away, take him to a groomers and have them muzzle him. It may not help with the desensitizing process, but it will get his nails cut.
A Husky came in for a bath yesterday and his nails were super long. It took two people plus a muzzle to keep the dog from biting and squirming, but his nails did get trimmed and I'm sure he's much more comfortable now. (He was awful for his bath too....a year old un-nuetered male Husky with no training....yikes.) But since your dog is a MinPin, it will be much easier to hold him steady while someone trims his nails.
But I'd only do that as a last resort: it will be much better for you, your dog, and the groomer to get your dog used to having his feet handled and his nails trimmed.

My newly adopted Min Pin didn't appear to have had his nails clipped very often when I took him in. Min Pins are so low maintenance as compared to Poodles I can see how easily it can be forgotten.

The groomer gave me the same advice -- play with his feet every day so he gets used to it. Per the advice here, I ordered a dremel so I can do it myself regularly.

My little one's the same way! I've been trying to desensitize him to me touching his feet, and it seems to be working until the clippers are in my other hand. Then he wiggles & kicks, hard. I'll let you know if I come up with a sure fire method
I've broken down and taken him in to the vet and had them do it. FYI: Groomers usually charge less than the vet to do it.
