Pepe the Rescue Dog.
Pepe is a Pomerainian I rescued a little over a year ago. I wanted a small dog seeing as I live in an apartment , and a big dog just wouldn't be able to run around. In my search, I found Pepe. Pepe comes from prizewinners on both sides, but she herself is no prizewinner. Upon birth it was discovered that she had floating kneecaps, crooked toenails, and she was missing spots of fur. As such, she was locked up in the garage by her previous owner with a full body harness. There aren't any records of what happened to her in the garage, but when I recieved her, she had nearly no fur, save her tail and most of her head. She was ahnded to me out of a car window in the transaction, and I was told that if she was a problem I could bring her back.
Obviously, this wouldn't happen. Over the last year, Pepe has recovered all of her fur, save that on her chest, which still remains bare. When I first recieved her, I couldnt put her in a room smaller than the livingroom without her paralyzing with fright, but she now roams the house like her own. She has, sadly, below average intelligence, and will bark at anything, even me untile she sees its me. She has made a great recovery, and now she spends her days sunbathing on the couch, and running in circles. She has never forgiven my roomates for calling her a rat. ![]() |

Pug Mom
|
Awwwwww am so glad you got her! Poor thing. I got a cat once, similar thing. a GORGEOUS blue cream persian male. Was living in a car. People kicked him out of the car. One night in a parking lot in vegas they met up with me and handed him out the window. I had him for oh gosh.. a couple years, unfortunately he had some internal issues, I had to have him euthanized.
So glad to hear she is doing well. I currently have two rescue pugs and one that was from a breeder (a good one!). But from now on, it will only be rescues for me. Thanks for introducing us to your little one! |

LOL i never noticed you aske how big his paws were before! he is a 7 pound boy with teeeeenny tinnnny feet. physically he is pretty perfect.. obviously im biased. he is 7 pounds but could stand to lose half a pound. he has tiny cat feet, and a teddy bear face. tiny but sturdy. havent heard from you ina while.. anything new with the poms?
